Matthew 27:1-26

Peace: the calm assurance that what God is doing is best

Hope: the confident expectation of something better ahead based on God’s promises

Patience: accepting a difficult situation without giving God a deadline for removing it

Faith: Active confidence in the God who has revealed Himself

Faith is believing the Word of God and acting upon it

– no matter how you feel

– knowing that God promises a good result

The very freedom of choice that God gives you to reject Jesus is the same freedom you can use to receive him
The blood spilt by those who rejected Jesus is the same blood God uses to redeem mankind

Those who betrayed him

Those who did not believe in him

Those who knew him

Those who were changed by him
